1. Review Assignment Goals
SWBAT:
Create a video timeline in Photoshop.
Add media to a video group in the Timeline panel.
Add motion to still images.
Animate type and effects using keyframes.
Add transitions between video clips.
Include audio in a video file.
Render a video.

3. Restore Default Preferences - Page 262
1. Read the book! Page 262, Steps 1 & 2
That's it! Skip everything else on the page!
4. Read About the Timeline Panel (Page 263)
The asset clips are BLUE for VIDEO and PURPLE for still IMAGES
5. Set Up Your Beach Video file - Page 264
1. Open your book to page 264 and follow all the instructions, except file name, for setting up your file
2. Name your file Beach Video followed by your last name and then your first name
example: Beach Video Hooker Martina.psd
3. Follow Book Instructions for adding assets on Page 265
4. Work with your neighbor to check that you both set up your file correctly

Image > Image Size (Compare to screenshot left)
Check that the Timeline is set to Video
Check that the correct 6 Assets were added (NOT INCLUDING beachsong.mp3)
Check that Layer 0 was deleted from the LAYERS PANEL
6. Whose file did you check? Answer DEQ
6. Creative Extension (4 Days)
Follow the instructions for setting up a video file on page 264 but name your file "My Video" followed by your last name and then your first name example: My Video Hooker Martina.psd
Gather at least 6 images/Video clips
Make sure the images are all JPEGS
Make sure the images are large enough for your video
Follow the instructions on pages 265 & 266 to add your assets
Refer back to the lesson instructions as needed and edit your video the following ways:
- Change duration of the clips so they are not the default 5 seconds
- Add animated text
- Add an adjustment layer
- Add transitions
Add Audio (optional)
Render your video!
Know the pixel dimensions of your files! Avoid scaling up in order to maintain image quality.
