This spotlight session explores Alameda County’s three decades of experience building and sustaining school health centers in partnership with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and community-based organizations. Speakers highlight how the county’s 28 school-based clinics deliver integrated medical, dental, behavioral health, and youth development services, while addressing equity and access for underserved students. The session also examines financing strategies, county and district partnerships, evaluation findings with UCSF, and statewide reforms like CalAIM and CYBHI that are shaping the future of school health in California.
