Office Hours is a drop-in space for COEs to engage in peer learning and discussion around current problems of practice related to their implementation of the Capacity Grant. In this space COEs bring questions to the Capacity Grant Team and peer COEs for discussion.

The Capacity Grants team periodically will highlight a COE, CBO, or related expert during Office Hours to do a short presentation on a topic of interest. These presentations are recorded and uploaded to the Capacity Grants Youtube page.
Dr. Loretta Whitson, Executive Director and Founder of the California Association of School Counselors (CASC), joined to provide insight on the application of CYBHI for the school counseling profession. Dr. Whitson framed the presentation on the importance of meeting the moment by addressing the rise in mental health needs of students, the role of PPS school counselors in addressing mental health issues, and the need for sustainable school-based mental health systems to ensure students continue to have access to high-quality behavioral health services. The presentation also included an overview of the school counseling landscape, a review of the standards with a focus on school-based mental health, and scenarios that apply the standards and billable services provided by PPS school counselors and related areas of support by Certified Wellness Coaches.
On December 12, 2025, Solano COE joined the Capacity Grants Office Hours to share about their Mobile Crisis Response Team and sustainability strategies.
