The Capacity Grant has been extended!
The Capacity Grant has a regular schedule of technical assistance and peer learning opportunities for COEs participating in the grant program. These opportunities are designed to provide ample space for peer to peer sharing as COEs navigate their unique contexts in the implementation of the CYBHI Multi-Payer Fee Schedule. Please see a summary of these opportunities below. If you would like to be added to any of the following, please reach out to capacitygrants@sccoe.org.
2nd Tuesday each month from 2-4pm
These meetings offer valuable opportunities for peer learning, joint problem-solving, and cross-agency alignment to support the expansion of school-linked behavioral health services.
Common discussion topics include collective impact strategies, community outreach, staffing solutions, and navigating program requirements—such as coordinating with Ordering, Referring, and Prescribing (ORP) providers, a vital step in ensuring access to care.
Every Friday from 11am-12pm!
Office Hours is a drop-in space for COEs to engage in peer learning and discussion around current problems of practice related to their implementation of the Capacity Grant. In this space COEs bring questions to the Capacity Grant Team and peer COEs for discussion.
The Capacity Grant team supports organizing peer learning groups to support COEs in sharing ideas and information for the benefit of students across California. Is there a topic you'd like to convene your peers around? Let us know by reaching out to capacitygrants@sccoe.org!
The CYBHI Capacity Grant Program has introduced a regional layer of support and technical assistance for County Offices of Education (COEs). Seven Regional Lead COEs will provide technical assistance and support to COEs to build capacity, infrastructure, and partnerships in alignment with statewide technical assistance and support for the School-Linked Partnership and Capacity Grants. This approach will mirror the seven geographic regions used for California’s State System of Support.
The Capacity Grant team is always happy to meet with COEs one-on-one! Please reach out to capacitygrants@sccoe.org if you are interested in receiving some tailored assistance!
