Unit 4 Excretory, Respiratory, Lymphatic and Nervous system

This unit of study will introduce the main concepts of the RESPIRATORY system and how to evaluate pulmonary function. Students will study the LYMPHATIC system and identify how blood is filtered in the body and how the body mounts an IMMUNE RESPONSE. Finally, students will study the NERVOUS system and identify how our body maintains control and regulation of organs and organ systems. Pending final exam schedule, students may also study the ENDOCRINE system and identify the functions of HORMONES and how these chemical messangers maintain coordination and regulation of organ system HOMEOSTASIS. Please use the following course sequence as we progress through this unit. Each Unit is broken down into modules. Each module contains either a link or an attachment that can provide you with all of the materials that are presented in the classroom.
