Unit 1 Introduction to Anatomy

This unit of study will introduce the main concepts of ANATOMY (the study of the structures in the body) and PHYSIOLOGY (the study of the function of the body). Students will also study CELLS and cell ORGANELLE and how these relate to normal physiology of TISSUES. Students will also study how cells are put together to form tissues and the study of HISTOLOGY. Please use the following course sequence as we progress through this unit. Each Unit is broken down into modules. Each module contains either a link or an attachment that can provide you with all of the materials that are presented in the classroom.
