Unit 3 Digestion and Circulatory system

This unit of study will introduce the main concepts of the DIGESTIVE system. Students will also study how the alimentary canal helps maintain HOMEOSTASIS and METABOLISM in the body. Students will study the CIRCULATORY system and identify how nutrients and blood are circulated in the body. Finally, students will study the EXCRETORY system and identify how wastes are removed from the blood and how the kidneys play a role in maintaining HEMOSTASIS. Please use the following course sequence as we progress through this unit. Each Unit is broken down into modules. Each module contains either a link or an attachment that can provide you with all of the materials that are presented in the classroom.
