April is National Poetry Month! In honor of that you may want to try your hand at writing a haiku! lease send any of your poetry to Mrs. Davis by emailing MDavis@sau53.org If you are feeling extra creative, video yourself performing your poem and send that along as well!

This is a repeat-after-me Appalachian folk song. The music word for this is an 'echo' song. Try to listen carefully for the ending which adds on more to it each time. For an added challenge increase the tempo (or speed) with each additional verse, to see who can sing the lyrics the fastest without getting mixed up!
