SAS practice test
Mr. Ferdinand
Hello!
I have been teaching in Deerfield since 2015 where I did a full year internship in the 5th grade. I earned my B.A. in English-Teaching in 2015 and my M.Ed. in Elementary education in 2016, both from the University of New Hampshire. Go Wildcats!
I spend my free time reading, camping, playing guitar and playing disc golf. Card games are also a big hobby of mine; my favorite is Cribbage. You can often find me after school running the Minecraft club at DCS. I'm ecstatic when imagination and cooperation come together in my classroom.
I enjoy teaching all subjects, but I especially love science and social studies. I am very interested in technology and constantly search for new and exciting ways to bring technology into the classroom. I challenge my students to think outside the box in both independent and cooperative settings. As a teacher, I value passion, perseverance, and a positive attitude. My goal is to create the positive power of community by fulfilling students' need to belong, to feel significant, and to have fun.
Mrs. Kilham
I am certified Paraeducator II and have enjoyed working at Deerfield Community School for 19 years. I have worked in almost every grade level in the school over that time, but admittedly, third grade is my favorite age group. I enjoy reading, writing and creative pursuits. I also am an avid rail trail bike enthusiast. I live in Deerfield with my husband and son ( age 26) as well as 2 cats and a dog. I also have a married daughter, Sarah ( age 24) and her husband, Nyok, in my family. I am looking forward to another fantastic year of learning in 3F.
