Registration and Administration
Successfully complete the Coach screening procedure established by your PSO and the Saskatchewan Games Council, including submission of Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Verification to your PSO
Complete the Respect in Sport (RiS) online training program for Coaches and Managers: Respect in Sport Activity Leaders
Finalize your sport team's rosters and submit completed spreadsheet to the District Chef de Mission and the Saskatchewan Games Council by the specified deadline
Share online registration links and ensure all team members have completed their registration by the specified deadline with all accompanying documents reviewed, signed, and completed, including:
Emergency contact information
Signed Code of Conduct, Waiver, and Consent Forms and Parental Consent signature (if participant is under the age of 18)
Ensure your athletes are aware of the process to pay their Athlete Fee online (walkthrough)
Gearing Up
Engage in regular communication with your PSO and District Chef de Mission
Attend your District Team's Pep Rally (if applicable) to meet your whole District Team, collect your ceremonial walkout uniform, and gear up for the Games!
Optional: Attend the Virtual Coach/Manager Orientation & Open House on July 9, 2024 at 6:00pm or catch the recorded session if you can't make it live
Optional: Attend the virtual Safe Sport information session offered by Allison Forsyth, OLY of Generation Safe on July 16, 2024 at 12:00 PM (click here for details) or catch the recorded session if you can't make it live

Coaches and Managers are invited to join Allison Forsyth, founder of Generation Safe, 2x Olympian, and World Championship bronze medalist skier for a free information session on Safe Sport at the 2024 Saskatchewan Summer Games.
Allison is driving her passion for changing the system and shifting a culture motivated by her own sexual abuse victimization in the Canadian sport system. Now Allison thrives in bringing the real conversation to organizations and their participants.

All participants of the Saskatchewan Games (including athletes, coaches, managers, mission staff, and officials) must sign and adhere to the Saskatchewan Games Code of Conduct.
We ask that all participants please limit themselves to one duffle bag or carry-on size piece of luggage and a backpack. Sport equipment is in addition to your luggage/backpack.
Toiletries: shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, ear plugs, sleeping masks and other personal items
Shower shoes/sandals
Towel
Pillow, sheet, and sleeping bag or blanket
Medications/prescriptions
Extra clothes - pack for the weather!
Sport equipment
Sport competition uniform
District Team ceremonial walk-out uniform (each participant will be provided with a hoodie, t-shirt, ball cap, and socks in your District colour)
Water bottle (please label)
Sun protection
Copy of your Saskatchewan Health Card (either a photocopy or photo of card)
Personal ID or driver's license
Nut-free lunch for your bus ride and nut-free snacks
Money for souvenirs and merchandise
Optional - extra blanket or pillow
Many of the District Teams will be hosting Pep Rallies in July to gear up for the Games, distribute uniforms, share info, and get hyped up!
The Chef de Mission for your District is busy planning these events. For more information on the Pep Rally schedule and other details, contact your District Chef de Mission.
If your District is not hosting a Pep Rally, your Chef de Mission will be in contact with you to determine how and where uniforms and other items can be picked up/distributed.
