To accommodate for the Opening Ceremonies, participants will eat in shifts to avoid congestion.
16:00-17:00 Teams: Rivers West, Saskatoon, Lakeland, Prairie Central & North
17:00-18:00 Teams: South West, Regina, Parkland Valley & South East
Water bottle refill stations will be available at all sport venues
Please remind your athletes to keep the cafeteria clean and be responsible for your own clean up
No food is to leave the cafeteria
No bags are permitted in the cafeteria (participants must leave their bag at bag check or in their rooms at the Athletes' Village)
There will be grazing and snack stations at most sport venues. Please pack some non-perishable snacks in case your venue does not have a grazing station available.
A water bottle is NOT being provided to all athletes, coaches and managers. Participants are expected to bring their own refillable water bottle as bulk water is available at all venues, within the Village and in the cafeteria. Please remember to carry your water bottle with you at all times and be sure to stay hydrated during the Games.
The Host Society will provide participants who have medically indicated dietary requirements (eg. celiac disease, allergies, etc.), as identified on the GEMS.pro registration, with foods appropriate to their needs. There will be very clear labelling in the buffet area. Participants are responsible for finding and eating the food appropriate for their diets, allergies, and any restrictions. However, due to the volume of participants, volunteers, and spectators, as well as the number of venues, we cannot guarantee allergens will not be present elsewhere at the Games.
❗ Please advise your athletes to indicate any allergies or food restrictions on their GEMS.pro registration.
