About the Games

50 Years of the Saskatchewan Games

Since 1972, the Saskatchewan Games have provided an opportunity for the province’s developing athletes, coaches, managers and officials to participate in an exciting and inclusive multi-sport event to prepare for a higher level of competition -- including the North American Indigenous Games, the Canada Games, and beyond! 

The Games have fostered community spirit and pride, played a significant role in developing volunteerism, and delivered new sport facilities and equipment in 16 communities across 25 editions to date.

We can't wait to bring the province back together for the 2024 Saskatchewan Summer Games in Lloydminster this July 21st through 27th!
