Security will be present to manage access control at the Athletes' Village and sport venues.
Please ensure you and your team members wear their accreditation tags at all times throughout the Games.
There will be volunteer access control found at the Athletes' Village throughout the day (7:00 AM - 10:00 PM) and overnight security onsite. If a medical incident, broken curfew, or any other situations arise overnight, coaches/managers are to notify the overnight security guard.
As we head into the 2024 Saskatchewan Summer Games after a cooler spring, it is critical to be aware of the environment when your team is competing outside. Please be aware of the weather and ensure that you and your athletes are taking care of themselves throughout the week. Some key heat-related injuries and illnesses to be mindful of are heat exhaustion, heat stroke, heat cramps, heat rash, and sunburn. Please ensure that your athletes, coaches and managers are wearing proper protective gear, including hats and sunscreen, and that all team members are staying hydrated before, during and after competition.
Water bottle filling stations will be available at all sport venues.

The Saskatchewan Games Council is committed to providing a safe and positive environment for all participants of the Saskatchewan Games. The Saskatchewan Games Council supports equal opportunities, prohibits discriminatory practices, and is committed to providing an environment in which all individuals are treated with respect and fairness.
The Coach-Athlete relationship is a privileged one and plays a critical role in the personal, sport, and athletic development of the athlete. Coaches and Managers must understand and respect the inherent power imbalance that exists in this relationship and must be careful not to abuse it, consciously or unconsciously. Coaches and Managers will:
Set a positive example for their athletes by compliance with all policies, rules and standards of conduct;
Act in the best interest of the athletes’ development as a whole person, avoiding all unsafe and unacceptable circumstances, and seeking advice of appropriate medical personnel before deciding if an injured athlete is to resume competition;
Supervise and be responsible for the conduct of their athletes at all times during the Saskatchewan Games, including transportation to and from the Games;
Be responsible for implementing discipline for an athlete who violates the Code of Conduct. The District Chef de Mission should be contacted to discuss the details of the misconduct and the appropriate disciplinary sanctions that may apply.
