All band parents--parents of instrumentalists, marching band parents, and auxiliaries--may join the SABPA. The annual membership fee is only $20 per family, not per student. This fee helps defray costs for water and snacks for students, as well as other expenses not related to the annual trip.
Joining SABPA makes your family eligible to
Vote at General Membership meetings (one vote per family)
Chaperone the band kids at football games, festivals, parades, and the annual spring trip
Serve on the board (only association members can be nominated and elected to board positions)
Participate in fundraisers organized by the parents association in support of the annual spring trip
All general membership meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. in the High School Band Room.

"The object of this Association shall be to promote and further the development, growth, and welfare of the SHALER AREA HIGH SCHOOL BANDS, and to work in close harmony with the band director and staff and with the Shaler Area School District Administration."
