Contact the Uniform Coordinator
Only long, black socks and the dark blue marching band t-shirt or crew neck sweatshirt are to be worn under the uniforms. During the cold weather they can wear leggings or thermals, like under armour, under the t-shirt and sweatshirt but they cannot be sticking out from under their pants or sleeves.
All instrumentalists (except drumline) are to wear white gloves.
If your child needs any of these please contact me at the below email or have them see me at the games/events. I will have extras on hand for the following prices:
Gloves $2.50/pair
Socks $2.00/pair
T-shirts $10.00/each
Sweatshirts $16.00/each
Shoes and raincoats should not be in the bottom of their garment bags, they weigh the bags down and cause them to rip. Raincoats should be hung or hooked onto a hanger.
EXCHANGES
If your child needs a different size uniform throughout the marching band season please contact me so that we can get them re-fitted. Since I work a full-time job I am not able to be at the afternoon practices during the week. I can make arrangements with you to meet them earlier before the away games, since we meet at the high school, or we can meet at the Drumline practices which are on Thursdays 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the high school. Please contact me before in case Drumline practice is cancelled. My contact information is below.
CHARMS
I am in the process of loading the uniform numbers from the commitment forms into your child’s Charms account. It is very important that the uniform commitment form be turned in so that your child’s account will be accurate.
Parent volunteers are needed to assist with preparation of uniforms. Some of the tasks include organizing, altering, and record keeping. The greatest need is for someone who is able to do minor alterations. If you sew a blind hem or repair a button please consider helping the band. Any assistance is greatly appreciated and you will have fun working with the kids.
