Honors Wind Ensemble

The SA Honors Wind Ensemble is a group made up of woodwind, brass and percussion players in grades 9-12.  Students in this ensemble will rehearse, perform, and study advanced level original wind band compositions, orchestral transcriptions, and music from a variety of musical genres.

Under the direction or Mr. M. George Tepshich, the SA Wind Ensemble has participated and competed in many regional and national music festivals, including the Performing Arts Consultant Adjudication in Norfolk, Virginia, Festivals of Music Band Adjudication in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Festivals of Music Band Adjudication in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Festivals of Music Band Adjudication in New York City, Festivals of Music Band Adjudication in Nashville, TN, Festivals of Music Band Adjudication in Chicago, IL and Festival Disney Music Festival in Orlando, Florida.
