*Student will not be considered as “traveling” until the non-refundable deposit is 

recorded and they are registered in Group Collect. 

How do I sign up?

• Register with Group Collect by specified date

• Provide proof to your respective director of a 2.0 GPA

• Pay deposit by specified date

How do I remain eligible to travel?

• Students must abide by the SASD and SAHS policies set in place by the district.

• Must also remain in good standing with the local law authorities.

• On-time payments (payment schedule appears below)

• Maintain a 2.0 GPA and compliant with SB Policy 123.2

• Cannot miss more than 10 days of a class

• Not more than 1 incident of OSS or 2 incidents of ISS

• Attend rehearsals and mandatory pre-trip meeting

*Failure to fulfill  requirements may result in removal from trip.

What does my money get me?

• Cannot miss more than 10 days of a class

• What does count towards my “10 days”

  • 1. 1. Late to school and missing morning classes

       2. Early Dismissals and missing afternoon classes

       3. Sick and Excused (with a note) Absences

• What does not count towards my “10 days”

  • 1. 1. School Approved Field Trips

       2. Long-term medical excuses are taken on a case by case basis

School Board policy 123.2 - classwork grades requirements

Eligibility will be based on:: 

• 69.5% or lower in class, they will be recommended for tutoring in subject area. 

• 1 grade below a 59.49% , they are eligible and are required to attend tutoring throughout the week for subject area 

• 2 grades below a 59.49%, they are ineligible (regardless of GPA) for that week and have to attend tutoring sessions in subject area

What happens if I am recommended or required to attend tutoring?

•  “Eligibility – Accountability Sheet”  - signed off by a subject area teacher with whom they worked at tutoring on a daily basis

• Attend tutoring during study hall, lunch, or afterschool

Am I still able to practice if I am recommended for tutoring?

• Students will still be able to practice with their respective groups until the time that they meet the requirements of the policy, but they will not be able to perform or compete if deemed ineligible.

What if my grade changes before the week is up?

• Even if grade changes early in the week, they still have to attend tutoring for the entire week and hand in their Accountability sheet at the end of the week. 

Important Dates 

• October 15 - Downpayment of (TBA) must be in Group Collect

• November 15 - Minimum balance in Group Collect

• December 15 - Minimum balance in Group Collect

• January 15 - Minimum balance in Group Collect

• February 15 - Final payment due in Group Collect

All financial obligations must be MET on time each month by either direct payments and /or fundraising.  Failure to meet any of these deadlines will make the Student ineligible to go on the Spring 2021-2022 Performing Arts Department Adjudication Trip.  Students withdrawing from the trip are required to notify the director and student records contact in writing (U.S. Mail or email). Student removal will not occur without contact in writing (U.S. Mail or email). This balance schedule is meant to be a best estimate of the total trip cost at this time.  Financial and calendar adjustments to this schedule may occur due to economic and itinerary changes and influences.
