Hosted by Society of Women Engineers, our students are invited to register and attend the Girls Day Out event at San Diego State. Students will explore engineering and STEM-related careers, participate in hands-on activities, and connect with students and professionals in the industry! Check Canvas and Powerschool grades to ensure that you are on track. Utilize FREE tutoring with ACES before and after school - You have both ACES Teachers and STYLE PeerTutors available to you! See the schedule below.
Tip! You can earn TREAT credit if you check in with participating teachers at lunch.
Progress report grades determine your eligibility to participate in Athletics and they will be emailed to parents/guardians the following Friday.

Due to the weekly changes that Transportation is making, we recommend that you check your Bus Route Information in Powerschool every Sunday. We invite all students and staff to participate in our Community Altar, located outside the Wellness Center, as a way to honor and remember someone special in your life—a loved one, a beloved pet, or a friend.
This altar is a space to celebrate the lives of those who have touched our hearts, share memories, and reflect on the love and connections that remain with us. You are welcome to contribute a photo, a note, a drawing, or another small item that reminds you of someone special.
Whether you are remembering someone who has passed away or simply celebrating someone who has made a difference in your life, your contribution is welcome.
Together, we can create a space filled with love, remembrance, and community. 💐

Themed “Memory, Healing, Belonging,” this exhibition features student artwork, TK-12th, inspired by the imagery and symbolism of Día de los Muertos. The exhibition is free and open to the public at Old Town San Diego State Historic Park! Check it out before Nov 2nd.

Only about 50% of our families have completed the annual forms for 2026-2027. Each year, families are required to complete several forms for each of their children enrolled in an SDUSD school.
Please log in to your Parent Portal and review the forms listed. Complete any Annual Forms that have not yet been submitted.

Reporting an absence?

Include: student name, your name and relationship to student, date(s) of the absence, reason for the absence and your phone number. Attendance records can only be cleared within 5 school days.
Picking up your student Early?
Please make every effort to call or email at least one hour before expected dismissal time! If you know in advance, you can send a note in with your student to get dismissed early. Students leaving early must have school authorization by way of a "Blue Slip" to exit campus. Failure to get a Blue Slip before leaving campus will result in a truancy. Parents/guardians may not call to clear a truancy after the student has left campus.

Enrollment Options Choice Priority Window for 2027-2028 is open now!
Enrollment Options Choice Priority Window for 2027-2028 is open now!
School Choice gives families the option to enroll their student in a school other than their neighborhood school. Choice enrollment application is open now and those that apply before Nov 15th will have priority.
Families interested in attending Mission Bay High for the 2027-2028, and don't currently attend Pacific Beach Middle, should apply. If you live in the 92109 zip code, you do not need to apply for Choice, as Mission Bay is your neighborhood high school.
Prospective families are invited to Join us for our next School Tour on Thursday, Oct 22nd to learn more about Mission Bay High. For more information about Choice, visit SDUSD Enrollment Options.
Note that Nov 12th tour may be our last in-person tour due to construction.
