Happening This Week

Monday March 2nd

Come join the No Assigned Seats Peer Buddy Club every Monday during lunch in room 263 or listen for announcements for other locations. Come make new friends and share experiences!

Mentor Mondays is packed for March. Today’s mentor is Ms. Gallagher, a research attorney. On March 10th Ms. Higman, a local business owner, and March 16th Evan Tando, a real estate investor. Come learn, ask questions, and get inspired! Sign up in the Wellness Center.

Tuesday March 3rd

Mission Bay Track & Field is looking for volunteers for the Jim Cerveny Invitational on Saturday, March 21. Students can earn Saturday School credit, and all workers will get fed tacos. Spots are limited, contact Coach Danny or Coach Farrar to sign up and support Mission Bay Track and Field.

Wednesday, March 4th

This Wednesday, March 4th is a Late Start Day.

Reminder - on Late Starts, ACES is CLOSED in the morning but OPEN in the afternoon.

11th Grade Students. SBAC Testing begins this Friday, March 6th.

Please minimize absences during this time to avoid makeup testing. Students need to bring their fully charged district issued device, headphones/earbuds, and pencil. District-issued devices are required for SBAC testing. There is a limited supply of district devices available to check out for testing - be sure to bring yours!

SBAC Testing starts this Friday and will complete next Friday, March 13th.

Super Stem Saturday, a hands on science festival, at Cal State San Marcos on Saturday, March 14th.

Training Day- Mon, July 27 1pm-4pm (be flexible and allow for an extra hour if needed)
Orientation Day- Thurs, July 30 7am-3pm (lunch provided)

If you are interested and eligible (2.0 GPA and CPA) complete this application by Fri, April 24 and receive a Link Crew t-shirt!!! Late applications may be accepted but space and a shirt will not be guaranteed.

ACES TUTORING - Open before and after school in the Library! Every Monday through Friday in the mornings from 7:30 - 8:30 and every Monday through Thursday in the afternoons from 3:30 - 5:00. We have teachers across all subject areas to help you!

On Minimum Days, ACES is OPEN in the morning but CLOSED in the afternoon.

On Late Starts, ACES is CLOSED in the morning but OPEN in the afternoon.

TREAT is held everyday at lunch please report by 1:30 Students can make up a tardy in the auditorium with Mrs. Filamor or with a participating teacher.

Showing up matters. When you miss school, you miss out on learning, friends, and opportunities. Be present, stay on track, and remember: showing up today sets you up for success tomorrow.
