Calling All MBHS Creatives: An Upcoming School-Wide Juried Art Competition is Here!
Whether you’re a seasoned painter, a digital artist, or a secret doodler, it’s time to show the school what you’ve got. We are officially accepting submissions for the MBHS School-Wide Juried Art Competition!
You don’t need to be enrolled in an art class or be a member of the Art Club to participate—if you’re an MBHS student, we want to see your work.
Prizes including Apple, Trader Joe’s, and Blick’s Art Materials Gift Cards, will be awarded to the top 3 winners!
Submissions accepted until April 13th
Winners Announced: The week of April 20th (via the Bulletin, School Website, and social media)
We are accepting art of any theme and any media, with the exception of short films or videos. From sculpture and photography to charcoal and oil paints, the floor is yours!
All entries will be juried by a panel of MBHS administrators and teachers.

Unfortunately, the trip that was scheduled on March 23rd to UCSD Hillcrest, has been postponed until the fall of 2026. 9th-1th graders who signed up will get first priority for the fall trip. Please see Mr. Camacho (library) or Ms. Patterson (main office) with any questions.

We are looking for energetic, positive mentors to lead activities at Freshmen Orientation on Thurs, July 30.
Here is our summer schedule:
Training Day- Mon, July 27 1pm-4pm (be flexible and allow for an extra hour if needed)
Orientation Day- Thurs, July 30 7am-3pm (lunch provided)
Freshman Tailgate: before first home football game 8/21

ACES TUTORING - Open before and after school in the Library! Every Monday through Friday in the mornings from 7:30 - 8:30 and every Monday through Thursday in the afternoons from 3:30 - 5:00. We have teachers across all subject areas to help you!
On Minimum Days, ACES is OPEN in the morning but CLOSED in the afternoon.
On Late Starts, ACES is CLOSED in the morning but OPEN in the afternoon.
TREAT is held everyday at lunch please report by 1:30 Students can make up a tardy in the auditorium with Mrs. Filamor or with a participating teacher.

Beginning Monday, March 23, 2026, the Student Registration for Next Year form will be accessible via the PowerSchool Parent Portal. This online form is designed for parents of students currently enrolled in grades TK-11 to complete re-registration for the 2026-27 academic year. The registration window will remain open until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, May 8, 2026.
All families that plan to return for the next school year are required to complete re-registration online.
