How to buy college books for cheap!
Get registered for classes on time!
Contact the professor and read the syllabus to know what you need to buy. Email and ask, "Do I need a new textbook or can you buy a used copy?" You need to know the ISBN and edition required before you buy.
Get to the college bookstore early so you buy a used copy if that works for your class.
Price check gooks on Amazon, Chegg, Thriftbooks, and Abe Books! Make sure to buy the right edition and ISBN. If you take off the shrink wrap there is no returning the book.
