Organise refreshments for visitors
Organise refreshments and lunch for volunteers
Manage helpers
Tare-down
Delegate responsibility for any of the above
Position tables for refreshments counter (and make a mental note of where they came from)
Fill urn and get it fired up
Place donations pot and allergy advice poster on the tables
Set up cakes, plates, cutlery, napkins, mugs etc.
Periodically transfer donations from the pot to the main donations collection point (to prevent theft)
Hand donations pot to check-in/out volunteers
Take any expenses out of the donations pot, record amount and supply a receipt (if possible)
Empty urn and return to original storage space
Return any cake tins etc. to volunteers
Wash up all items borrowed from the venue
Wipe down tables with warm soapy water
Return tables and chairs to where they came from
Check stocks and write shopping list for next Café
