As the capstone project at the end of the master’s program, I have created a multimedia Web site ePortfolio full of artifacts demonstrating the manner and the extent to which I have met the AECT standards. My multimedia eLearning environment was the first time that I truly "flipped" a lesson. My needs assessment was the driving force for the node chairs in my classroom. The curriculum project increased engagement and student interaction during a book study. My action research project assessed my school's one-to-one iPad program. My instructional design was used to not only build community, but support staff members during our transition to Gmail. And lastly, the technology plan was created to support teachers who then in turn support our students.
As an educator, and a degree candidate, I find it beneficial to self-assess on a regular basis. In creating this ePortfolio, I have again reviewed best pedagogical practices, challenged myself as I do my students, and continued to research how to meaningfully implement educational technology.
