Forensics is the application of scientific knowledge, including the examination and presentation of scientific evidence to solve crimes. It involves collecting and analysing evidence such as fingerprints, blood groupings, DNA, mystery fibres and powders as well as exploring criminology. 

In a hands-on way, you will investigate different types of forensic evidence including physical, trace and biological. 

You will use practical chemistry skills to model the collection and processing of evidence.

You will explore Forensic Psychology to gain an understanding of the behaviour, and memory aspect that can be used to create a profile of a suspected criminal.
