Brief - A sub-brand birthed from Nandos, PERi PERi sauces are delicious with almost anything. The wide range of PERi-PERi sauces combine flavour with varying degrees of heat that will satisfy the flavour profile from a PERi-PERi beginner to a fiery heat seeker. There is something for all!
Campaign Objectives: To maintain their position as market leader in the hot sauce segment. To reach a new sub-group target audience who are into flavour, not just heat.
Audience: People who love flavour and/or a hit of spice in their food. They hate bland, plain foods and reach out for sauces to add more depth to their meals. Aiming for new home-makers with a viable income, 20-35 who are open to trying new things and who are culturally open to different types of flavours and cuisines.
Insight: The chilli segment has traditionally been driven by heat, burn and a ‘come and try me if you dare’ approach. It’s not about alienating chilli users or non-users, it’s about finding your perfect flavour match with the right Peri-Peri sauce.
Brief - To create and maintain a cohesive personality and online presence whilst promoting a service/event through a social media campaign. You will choose a well known fictional character from the list below, and create a live social media profile as them. You must promote a service or event associated with them as your campaign. Eg. Create a social media campaign for the Mad Hatter, who is starting up a hat shop.
What kind of visuals will he post and what would he say? What accounts does he follow, and what hashtags does he use? You will create a real Instagram account for this project, and role play your chosen character through copy and narrative, via posts and interactions with your audience (peers). You must follow all your peers' characters, and are required to engage with each other’s posts in character throughout the remainder of the trimester.
