2/3/2022
I was introduced to Astronomy Club and what happens there. I also got introduced to the types of telescopes that the Club has. There are two general types, reflector and refractor telescopes and how they worked.
9/2/22
I learnt about the Beginning, Middle and the End of the Universe along with how stars and black holes are formed.
The most interesting topic I feel is the End. While the other 2 talk about the past, this talks about the future which can be unpredictable.
What do you like about the PPT?
There were a large number of visual animations and videos which kept the audience engaged and interested in the PowerPoint. However, I felt that overall it was quite long.
23/3/22
I learnt about the Fermi Paradox and 2 new equations, the Drake Equation and the Seager Equation. I also learnt that despite the abundance of habitable planets, there is not a sign of life in sight, hence the Fermi Paradox. I enjoyed preparing for the debate and learning about my other classmate's thoughts on the case on whether there is or isn't Alien life
I cannot really find a way to apply what I have learnt in daily life except calculating the percentages of whether it can happen.
It can be improved by making it more interactive like adding maybe a quiz or some fun animation.
I wish that for the next lesson, maybe you can have a presentation on the Existential Crisis and whether reality is a simulation or not?
30/3/2022
I learnt about Black Holes. I also learnt that there are different types of Black holes , eg. Stellar Black Holes, Miniature, Intermediate and Supermassive. I also got to practice what I have learnt in Kahoot.
I feel that I can apply what I have learnt in daily life in Physics Class :)
It can be improved by maybe having less words and the text font to be bigger.
I wish that for the next lesson, rogue planets could be presented.
6/4/22
Today, i learnt about Exoplanets and how to detect them. I also learnt about the Carl Sagan. There are different types of detection. We also di hid a presentation (prepared one at least)

I can apply this as general knowledge
Can be improved by having shorter kahoots
Next, next week, strange matter
I learnt about SR and GR. SR is the same everywhere. C is same everywhere. SR is basically nothing can vroom faster than light, time dialation and length contraction. GR is space time same, how thing move in spacetime. Basically relation between matter and ST. Funny paradox.
Can be less math.
ksp
I wan ksp
Galaxies have 3 different types, irregular, spiral and elliptical. Nebulae have 3 types, Emmission, Planetary and Supernova remains. I learnt what star maps are and how to read them.

31/8/22
Excited to teach
Can improve on volume and coordination, good at slides+images
Can improve by practicing volume and coordinating slide change beforehand
Yes
Learnt about techniques for foxhunting, tune the thing to 4 megahertz less, sound thing. Learnt about various events that astro is holding and the events and stuff and trips. Feel that teachers can sometime take over to recap and do briefing stuff. Feels interesting.
1/18/23
The lesson was interesting. We did KSP at last though i am terrible at it but whatever. We crashed many times but learnt important things such as do not put many engines, ailerons are actually important for a plane to fly, rockets cant be too heavy, etc. It can be improved by adding a short tutorial before the lesson as a refresher.
25/1/23
KSP part 2. Got a rocket into orbit and then it blew up. Made an SSTO that overheats and that goes Mach 3 minimally.
Can be improved by having more time to experiment
22 Feb
We learnt about aliens, and the Fermi Paradox. Basically, universe so big why no alien. I also learnt why detecting life is so hard as it is hard to ensure that life was from space and not Earth. Additionally, there are assumptions that one must make, which maybe inaccurate, such as all life need oxygen, water, sugars etc. Also did some KSP.
Next lesson, elaborate on potential solutions to Fermi Paradox
Can project voice louder
8 Mar
We watched a movie(Yay!)(Gravity). Some dangers of spaceflight include debris, apoxia, collisions. Manoveurs can also be difficult and technology may not work 100% of the time. Unpredictable issues like collisions are also dangerous. Power outages are especially impactful as most spacecraft require power to operate.
Ok sure.
Kuiper belt.
22 Mar
We did solar system. We recaped on solar system and what it makes up, like planets, celestial objects in it
Okish, could be more complex and have like more interesting stuff
Dark Matter
5 Apr
We did constellations. I learnt on what are constellations, which are just groups of stars forming some shapes, some examples of constellations like Taurus and Leo, and also we make slides on constellations. Some reasons on why we see different constellations across a year are the Earth's orbit.
Could have made it slightly more interactive
Rogue objects
Universe start
Big bang (Boom!)
Pulsating theory (Big - Small - Big)
Steady State
2 Parts- Matter and Radiation
Bright light
Radiation
Could have projected voice better, and be a little less rushed
Rogue Planets
17 May
We learnt about exoplanets. There are different types of exoplanets such as Gas giants and super-earths. I also learnt methods to detect exoplanets such as Gravitational microlensing.
More interactive/Videos
Dark Matter
28 Jun

I think the organisation could have been improved but overall ok.
10 Jan
Did Air rockets (supposed to be water but rain) and setting up telescopes. I saw how to make telescopes and how to assemble it. Was not very interesting as we could not really do much due to the weather.
The organisation could be better and clearer.

Learnt about black holes, copernican and kepler's laws of planetary motion, gravity and the math behind it (like the formula). Was mediocre and somewhat dry. Hope to have some more interesting content.
24 Jan
Lernt about deltav equation, planets in the solar system. Did a very short ksp session. Found it quite disorganized and confusing as we kept on shifting to different stuff to do. It was fine.
31 Jan
Learnt about telescopes, the different types, the f-ratio, as well as focal lengths. Tried looking though them at a random dudes hdb flat and the image was quite clear. Overall quite fun. Can be improved by having more things to look at.

10 Jul
interstellar medium, consisting of gas, dust, and cosmic rays between stars, serves as the raw material for star formation and absorbs and scatters light and radio waves, impacting astronomical observations and galactic dynamics. accretion disks are formed by material spiraling around a central body like a black hole or star, and emit significant electromagnetic radiation. they can also be formed if an object passes the roche limit.
could be improved by being less dry and not throwing styrofoam balls into the fan
17 Jul
Learnt about the solar system. learnt about the eccentricity, orbital period, distance, time of orbit etc. not very interesting cos im faily sure slides were repeated. Was not very organised and quite confused.
15 Jan
I learnt about Earth, its geology and the atmosphere. There were a number of interactive elements like photos and a quiz at the end which was kinda fun. I think it can be improved by having better organisation of the session.
5 Feb
I elarnt about meteors, asteroids and meteroites, as well as the formation of solar systems. There were many visuals included which helps to better visualise, as well as being quite interactive. I think it can be improved by being more engaging.
12 Feb
I learnt about the moon and its craters, as well as how we use it to find the age. There were quite a few images and visuals. I think it can be improved by making it more interactive and engaging.
26 Feb
Learnt about solar weather as well as solar flares and CMEs. Also learnt on how they impacted earth and why we need to take action to prevent it. The presentation was quite engaging with many visuals and pictures, as well as being generally interactive. It can be improved by having more time for QnA.
