Reflection format-What i learnt, what the presenter did well, what person could do better
2 march) I learnt about the different types of telescopes and what happens in the astronomy CCA i also enjoyed todays session
9 March reflection) Q1 I think that the most interesting topic was about super massive black holes. Q2 I think that the presentation given was rather well done with the only downside being that they were occasionally not very clear.
30 March reflection)I learnt different things about black holes especially how they are made and what they do. I also learnt what happens after you enter you enter a black hole. I also learnt what are the differences of a black hole and a white hole. Also what a wormhole is and what it does and where it is located in. Also what hawking radiation is.
6 April notes) I learnt what exoplanets are where they are and what the methods of finding them are
20 April 2022 reflection)I learnt more about rovers and how they work and what there use is. I also learnt about the thing about it that scares the scientists when the rover is landing. I also learnt how to use a 3D modelling software. I also learnt about how the rovers land.
27 April Reflection) I learnt how to leave the atmosphere and renter the atmosphere without the plane crashing. I also learnt what parts are bad in KSP and what some parts in SFS are for. I also learnt how confusing KSP is.
4May reflection) I learnt what the use of satellites are and what they are for. I also learnt about the different types of satellites. I also learnt about select telescopes and how they are unique . I also learnt hôw to make a satellite in sfs.

I also learnt how and why the sound on mars is unique. As well as what magnetars are. Also more on black holes and what GAIA is. I thought that the lesson was vrery interesting on learning about what we have discovered in this entire century.I honesty think that this lesson could be improved by there being less lessons and there being less mistakes in the Kahoot.
13 July reflection)I learnt about aerodynamics and how it affects items. I also learnt about drag.I also learnt how something could be made aerodynamic. The factors of something more aerodynamic.I thought that the lesson was very interesting and that the videos were very descriptive. I think that the lesson could be improved by the videos being shorter.
20 july reflection) I learnt about protostars. I also learnt about the evolution of stars and that black dwarfs might exist. I enjoyed the kahoot and think that the presenter did describe everything very clearly. But i think that the explanations could be slightly shorter.
27 Reflection) i learnt about supernovas, neutron stars and more about black holes. I learnt about how they came about and why. I had also learnt that the first image of a black hole was taken in 2019 and the first person to document a supernova. I think the presenter did well and he made the kahoot well but i think he could have slightly reduced the number of questions in the Kahoot.
17 August reflection) I learnt about relativity and who came to make the laws of relativity. I had also learnt that issac newton did not have a good relationship with Albert einstein despite them not being alive at the same time. I had also learnt that einstein had modified some laws made by newton. I had also learnt about how time and matter interact and how einstein was a jerk. I think that the presenter did good by providing examples but I think that the presenter should not have had that many videos.
24 august reflection) I learnt about deep sky objects as well as emission nebulae and planetary nebulae. I also learnt about the multiple different types of galaxies. The presenter showed a lot of information but I think that the presentation would have been better with lesser videos.
31 August) I think that this was a relatively more interesting lesson due to there not being a lecture on astronomy but on how to present well
14 sep reflection) there are many opportunities in Astro clubs for sec 3 and 4. Learnt about radio frequency and satellites a little bit. I think that this lesson was a bit weird as there was not much elaboration on astronomy and more about the future of the club and what would happen later. Cannot improve on anything.
18 jan reflection) I have learnt that basics of KSP and how to build a rocket. Despite me being terrible at it and not being able to really make it out of orbit. I have also learnt that rockets can not have too many engines or be to heavy. The lesson was interesting as well.
15 Feb reflection) I learnt about star charts and sextants and what they are used for. I also learnt how to draw a star chart. I had a lot of fun drawing the star chart. However me and my other group member were unable to draw many constellations on the star chart successfully.
22 Feb reflection) I have learnt about alien life and how we have no proof it exists. I have also learnt about the Fermi paradox and how humans are 0.71 on the kardeshev scale. I have also learnt that US could be hiding aliens in area 51 or in other places.
8 March reflection 2023) From the movie I have learnt a few things. The first thing I learnt is that space travel is very dangerous as in the movie as shown when the Matt made a mistake, it lead to the person drifting away and probably dying. I have also learnt that debris move very fast in space and can be very dangerous as when the debris hit the ship it lead to the ship taking a lot of damage and the people inside the ship dying . Another thing I have learnt is that even on the iss fire can form but the fire also floats. In space I have also learnt that navigating and moving is very difficult as Matt probably died from him not being able to control his movements.
I really enjoyed this lesson and would like to see more of such lessons where we get to watch movies and learn about Astronomy.
reflection) Lesson very cool as learn about solar system but the Kahoot very bad as one of the questions were multi select and 2/3 of the correct options were incorrect.
reflection 5 Apr) I learnt about constellations and 3 different ones L, A, T. I also learnt that the constellations used to be more visible back in the day. They can improve by being better.
reflection 19 Apr) I learnt more about stellar evolution and the different stars there are. There are many by many I mean many. So very many that I can barely remember them even as of now(19 Apr 4;33). One thing I remembered is that I learnt about protostars. I also learnt about the evolution of stars and that black dwarfs might exist. I enjoyed the kahoot and think that the presenter did describe everything very clearly. But i think that the explanations could be slightly longer for more clarity(Me: 20 July 2022).

Reflection 5 July) I learnt about amazing different theoretical different structures that could help humankind but is incredibly difficult, expensive and nearly impossible such as the skyhook and the Dyson sphere. I also learnt about the SpaceX booster catcher and the TianYian telescope which is a telescope which is big.
Reflection 26 July) I learnt about the different cults and religions of Astronomy. I learnt about the different beliefs of theirs. Superstitions associated with stars and celestial events demonstrate the enduring influence of religious beliefs on human perception of the cosmos. The mention of various cults throughout history underscores how religious ideas can lead to tragic consequences and hinder scientific progress when taken to the extreme or misinterpreted. It serves as a reminder of the importance of critically examining and balancing religious beliefs with evidence-based knowledge.
Reflection 2 Aug) Learning about volcanoes in astronomy from a professor was an eye-opening experience. I was fascinated by the intricate connections between planetary geology and celestial bodies. Understanding how volcanoes shape the surfaces of other planets deepened my appreciation for the complexity and diversity of our universe.
Reflection 16 Aug)I've gained valuable insights into the intriguing realm of asteroids and the enigmatic phenomena of black hole stars. Exploring these celestial bodies has expanded my understanding of the vastness and complexity of the universe. The study of asteroids has revealed their potential impact on Earth.
Reflection 23 Aug) I've gained valuable insights into the intriguing area of astrophysics. In which, the area of orbits was explored. I managed to learn more about the physics behind how planets orbit and more about the Kepler laws. I also learnt more about other complicated physics which were kinda hard to understand.

Reflection 17 Jan ) I learnt more about black holes and more information about them like how big they can be. I also learnt about how black holes can be formed and how people "see" them. I also learnt about celestial motion and all.
Reflection 24 Jan ) I learnt that the earth is the 3rd planet from the sun and that uranus has methane in it. Learnt the deltav equation and ksp. but the ksp session was too short/. Lesson was wonderful
Reflection 31 Jan ) I learnt about telescopes and the lenses they got. I also learnt that a solar filter is very useful. can be improved by fewer telescopes.
reflect 14 Feb) I learnt about zodiacs
Reflect 21 Feb) I learned a bit about satellites and life in the universe. I also learnt about how there is no other life we know about in this universe. This lesson was kinda boring as it was kinda messy. The presenters kept on switching the topics which was kinda confusing.
reflect 28 Feb) I learnt about light and its reflections. I also learnt about its applications in astronomy. I also learnt about the different reflection types and the thingy.
reflect 3 April) i learnt celestial mechanics
reflect 17 apr) I learnt binary stars cool 1 and 0s but not really
reflect 24 apr) Space is vast, filled with stars, planets, and galaxies. Rockets are vehicles designed to propel themselves into space. They carry satellites, probes, and astronauts to explore and study the cosmos.
reflection 8 may) 3.2275821 is the total dipole length while the length of each dipole is 1.6137931 feet for the antenna.
reflection 15 may) i learnt about exoplanets. I learnt that exoplanets are celestial bodies orbiting stars beyond our solar system, offer tantalizing glimpses into the diversity of planetary systems in the universe. Studying their atmospheres and compositions sheds light on the potential for habitability and the processes shaping planetary formation and evolution.
reflection 26 Jun) i learnt about astro challenge and the trip. I also learnt quite a bit about the orbital mechanics. I also learnt about the hohmann transfer. hoeman transfer have circle which circle that circles.
reflection 10 Jul)Accretion disks are rotating disks of gas, dust, and other debris that accumulate around a central massive object, such as a star or black hole. They form due to the gravitational pull of the central object, which attracts surrounding material. As the material spirals inward, it heats up and emits radiation, often observed in X-rays or visible light. These disks play a crucial role in the growth of stars and black holes, influencing their evolution and energy output. Will use to win future cca competitions.
reflection 17 Jul)solar systems are solar syst s and they contain planets which contain hydrogen atoms and planets. The planets are in a solart system which contai planets with atoms and mol ecules.can be imrpoved by having less cca sessions and less lectur s. I wanna learn ho w to excel.
reflection 14 Aug) Stellar evolution is the process by which a star changes over the course of its life. This evolution is driven by the balance between gravity, which tries to collapse the star, and pressure from nuclear fusion in its core, which pushes outward. \
