I'm not gonna sugarcoat this! Today was an amazing and exciting and fear-invoking experience. The learning of such a profound and abstract topic messed with the inner functions of my brain. The most sagacious topic that has grazed the inner machinations of my mind. The knowledge of such a heartfelt, overpowering and touching presentation that provides me with the urge and feel to crawl up in a ball and wallow in my misery. i learnt about the solar system. I hope to be furthered by this life-changing experience, changed to be a better man for the betterment of society.

today we listened to Mr Tan, a presentation on the planets in our solar system and played KSP. This lesson could be improved if the presentations were more interesting. This lesson constitutes a part of basic astronomy and can help us expand our knowledge. An activity that I would look forward to is one about the parts of a rocket. 45/💯
7/8/24
today we listened to a presentation on Milky way and the Sun. This lesson was quite informative as it covers a lot of content about the sun, namely sunspots, solar flares, solar prominences, its formation and death, etc. I can apply what I learned today in competitions. (2/3)/💯
14/8/24
today we did some circuit challenge thingy and learned about star formations. This lesson let us try to design circuits that are essential in rockets, and also we learned important topics related to star formation such as accretion, H-R diagram, etc. This lesson let us learn by doing and we developed critical thinking that can be used in many other on-the-spot situations. 71/💯
12/2/25
today we did a group presentation, then learned about cratered worlds, which was really interesting. Afterwards, we had a blooket test to test our understanding. The session could have been improved if it was less rushed. 100/💯

1.What was the main objective of the experiment?
to make a papercraft spectrometer
2.What happens when you point at different light sources (e.g., sunlight, bulb, LED)?
FOr fluorescent light, the spectrum had bright emission lines at specific points, rather than a continuous spread of colours.
3.What improvements would you make to obtain clearer spectra?
Doing it in a darker environment
26/2/25
We had a talk on space weather by a NASA scientist. Having a real professional give his takes and share his knowledge was really eye-opening. It was an enriching experience that inspired me greatly.
