Candidates are expected to complete a safeguarding course, or provide evidence that they have already completed a course, or training within a school context as part of a previous volunteer or job role.
If you have not undertaken safeguarding training within a year of your application, you can access the NSPCC course at low cost by clicking here or on the picture below. It doesn't take long and it is a good starting point to develop your skills and knowledge in this vital area.
You DO NOT need to do this for visa compliance. It is recommended that you complete everything else first, then complete the Safeguarding once that you have everything else in place. It can even be done in China, before you start teaching children.
You can upload evidence using the Upload Centre.
