It is this little document, stuck onto one of the pages in your passport that will get you into China. Once you step off the plane, our Chinese counterparts will hold your hand through everything else in order to get you settled in.
Most importantly... within one month of being in China, your school will take you to register for a foreign work permit, and a residence permit - issued by the Chinese Government Foreign Experts Department.
The basic steps though are here...
1) Collect you from the airport
2) Spend a little time in Beijing / complete secondary health check (yes, this is a simple medical, but it is in addition to the medical you already have)
3) Travel to your school under the care of one of the school teachers
4) Sort out your bank account and other sundries
5) Get you settled into your accommodation
6) Start introducing you to the school
7) Let you fly!
You get this within one month of arrival in China, having used your Z Visa to get there.
As with the Temporary Residence Permit, you get your Foreigner's Work Permit once you have arrived in China.
It is these two documents that make up the suite of three documents that allow you to:
