COMPULSORY

Aside from being a compulsory aspect of a Z Visa application, TEFL courses are a great way to start your journey in working abroad. The courses are easily accessible and can take as little as two days to receive a certificate, with a further 120 hours development at your leisure through online study and through on-the-job experience.

PLEASE NOTE: Even if you are an experienced teacher with a teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE), you will still have to complete a TEFL course in order to officially qualify for a Z Visa to enter China.

important: regarding names

• Before legalising any document, check that YOUR NAMES on the document MATCH that of your PASSPORT (i.e. middle names, dropped names, shortened names etc.)
• If they DO match, you can go ahead and legalise
• If they do NOT match, you need a witness statement from a solicitor to 'prove' that the two different names on the documents are the same person
