The medical form is an essential part of the Visa application process. There is nothing to be concerned about. It is becoming more common for employers to ask for medical health checks before employment, and the Chinese government are particularly keen to ensure that they are regulating this for everyone's benefit.
- You DO need to complete the blood tests in the UK in order to qualify for a Z Visa
- In some cases (depending on location and context of the school) you will be able to get the ECG and X-Ray done in China. In these cases, the school will organise this for you
- Medical costs are reimbursed by VEC circa the 15th of the first month of working
- Different medical institutions and doctors will charge different amounts, and we cannot advise on medical issues or costs
- In China, they use a lot of 'ink stamps' to prove that a company or entity is official (a company stamp). Doctors / hospitals may not have this in the UK, so it is a case of asking them to sign or seal the form in their own way.
