In this portfolio, I created photos to represent the 18 compositions and techniques using, my subject, Peppa Pig. All except one photo was taken outside of my house in my driveway, the one exception was taken on 136. All of the photos have their own unique taste, with some I took close up photos or from afar. But, the thing that makes them stand out is what materials I used with Peppa Pig. I used 2 soccer balls, the leaves from the trees, mailbox, the gravel and sand from the road, and sticks and fallen leaves. I used the images above because I thought the represented the 18 vocabulary words the best, and with a little editing I knew they stood out rather than being bland. I'm proud of them :)

The composition and technique rules were: leading lines, repetition and grouping, framing, informal balance, formal balance, rule of thirds, low horizon line, high horizon line, high key lighting, low key lighting, silhouette lighting, angle up, angle down, close distance, far distance, soft focus, sharp focus, and selective focus. I have one photo that I chose representing each word, but some photos have multiple definitions in them. Most of these photos are edited because the photo itself was good but needed better lighting or it needed to be cropped on the right a little bit, etc.

Behind most of these photos are like a happy/greeting vibe, but also some of them are funny, or a creepy mystery feeling. I'm usually a happy person so I think these photos convey my personality. With the murder-like pictures those just made me laugh and I hope everyone else would laugh at them too :) I think the only photo that bothers me or that isn't "great" in my eye is my high horizon photo. But that's ok just because I don't like it doesn't mean someone else doesn't like it, so overall I'm very happy with my pictures.
