Zentangle

Name: Ben Project: Zentangle

The title of my artwork is Zentangle. I used the following mediums to create a value scale. Some of the art-making techniques I used was ink. I used the following elements of art in my artwork: Drawing, Coloring. To add interest to my composition, I added shapes value I used these principles of design: Emphasis. This artwork is about showing value going from light to dark. This completed work makes me feel awesome because now I can create a value scale. By creating this project I learned that to create value you must have to correctly shade and add contrast when appropriate.

In future pieces of art I may try to keep it a little more neat to enhance the look of my art. I added my own original style by adding thin then thicker lines to show value from light to dark
