Favorite Project
Art Final.mp4 This art class was very different from the ones at Durham Middle School. In this class I was challenged to create and recreate many projects to the best of my ability. My overall experience for this class challenging mostly because of the work load and it was hard to keep track of everything between Artsonia and the digital portfolios and the all the due dates.
One thing that I did enjoy about this class was that for most of your projects you could choose what you wanted to do. Like for my Animal Sculpture I chose to make a falcon out of cardboard. It was the free range of choice that made the process of making art fun. Some processes that I struggled with in art were getting the artist statements turned in on time. Some products that I am proud of are the Animal Sculpture and the Scrafito Tile because in my opinion they came out the best and I put a lot of effort and time into them.
I feel like i met the standards in this class because I put in a lot of time and effort and spent a lot of time at home and after school working on projects and artist statements trying to keep caught up and get everything in on time with my best quality of work. My art relates to my life because I did a lot of abstract art and it represent my life because its chaotic and random but in the end result turns out fine.
