For our first lesson, we learnt about what 3D modelling is. We then discussed the differences between 2D and 3D shapes. Then, we used TinkerCad and had a play with some of the controls. Our challenge was to build a house! Here is an example.

In this lesson, we learnt lots of new skills. We had already tried out some of these but we learnt how to do them properly. We learnt how to recolour, lift, lower, move and resize shapes over 3 dimensions. We also learnt how to use the scribble tool and even make holes!

Lesson 3 - Make your own name badge
In this lesson we got to use all the skills we have learnt to create our own name badges. We thought about the size of the badge and used those dimensions when modelling. Did you know that one small square on our work plane is 1mm?!
