Late 2023 the Conardi microplastic group started work with Carolina Urbina to present the impact of their project in our region. Carolina is a psychologist from the project “Activism from and with childhood: participatory socio-environmental transformations for 21st century schools”. The main focus has been  to empower adolescents into the social-environmental changes that can be seen at school because of climate change. This year (2024) we plan to present their microplastic project in other schools of Chile in order to empower and motivate more students to get engaged with environmental issues.
