The purpose of this PLLT was to introduce and create innovative practices into the wider school community.
The project focused on two key aspects:
Cultural Competence: Engaging with professional community networks with the Australian Education Consultative Group (AECG) to implement community connection and the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). The Department of Education in conjunction with the AECG created various deliverable actions and school worked to achieve these goals when working with the Indigenous community.
Community Consultation: As a PLLT we recognised that there are various communities within RHHS and outside RHHS. We focused on how we wanted to 'brand' the school and make it place that thrives on community connection.
