PLLT Team 1.2's project related to the implementation of strategic direction 1.2 focused on academic progress and achievement. To ensure that the PLLT is successful the team has continued with the established process of annually reviewing student performance by their cohort and seeking recommendations for future developments.
As a result our 2022 HSC results showed:
Out of 27 courses examined at the HSC, 11 achieved results with 45% or more in Bands 4, 5 or 6
A significant reduction in N/A (non-attempt) responses to examination questions
Significant change to teaching practices to improve student performance in questions worth 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 marks.
Significant outstanding responses of students on those questions with a maximum mark of 15, 20 or 25.
