Background
After graduating from Charter Day School, I went to North Brunswick High School. I still cheered for RBA in 9th and 10th grade, and then began to coach in 11th grade once I aged out. I was able to finish my first year of college at Brunswick Community College while I was still in high school. At this time, I began working at Chick-fil-A and quickly became a Team Leader. I graduated high school in 2016 and then attended University of North Carolina at Wilmington. During college, I became a Supervisor at Chick-fil-A. In 2017, I was one of 12 employees in the country chosen to win the $25,000 True Inspiration Scholarship from Chick-fil-A. I became the Marketing Director for Chick-fil-A on Market Street soon after. I graduated college in 2019 with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. Throughout high school and college, I still coached for RBA and was also the choreographer. I choreographed all 21 National Championship routines that RBA has won.
What are you doing now?
I now work for Chick-fil-A Corporate as the Social Content Developer and Manager. I manage, plan, and schedule all social media content for Chick-fil-A Inc. on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube!
I am still the head coach and choreographer for the RBA Cheerleading Program.
I got married to my high school sweetheart in 2020. I am currently pursuing my Master of Business Administration and will graduate with my MBA this semester. I hope to one day own and operate my own competitive cheerleading facility!
How did your time at the Roger Bacon Academy prepare you for your endeavors?
The education I received at RBA put me on the path for success. Because I took accelerated courses at RBA, I was able to finish my high school classes early and therefore finish a whole year of college before even graduating high school!
How has your Roger Bacon Academy education shaped who you are as a person and in your career?
RBA always valued more than just your education, but also being a person of great character. This value was instilled in me very young and has shaped everything I do now.
RBA also led me to fall in love with the sport of cheerleading and coaching, and now I hope to one day own my own cheerleading gym based on the positive experiences I had cheering for RBA.
