On-line learning for all students in grades K-8 will begin on Thursday, August 6, 2020.
For those students participating in on-line learning, check-ins with the teachers will take place on Thursday, August 6th and Friday, August 7th.
For those families that selected online instruction, you must have strong internet connectivity. The school will have Chromebooks and accessories available to loan to each student who will be attending online. More information will be provided on pick-up times and locations for these devices.
It is a combined effort on behalf of the school administration, teachers, and parents/guardians to ensure that all students have access to learn while schools continue to face restrictions while under Plan B from the Governor (50% capacity with 6-foot distancing requirements).
For Grades K-2: On-line classes will be taught separately from on-campus classes offering the same curriculum with individual schedules
For Grades 3-8: On-line classes will be delivered concurrently with on-campus classes and will follow the same curriculum and daily schedules
Note: Updated Zoom schedules for K-2, 7th, and 8th to begin on Monday, 9/14/20 (see below)
During the On-Line Check-ins, students will login to their Google Classroom accounts using their school-issued email address to ensure access to all teacher announcements and assignments. Additionally, students will practice logging in to the provided class links via Zoom to test out their devices to ensure proper sound and video quality.
