Our School Uniform

At Roding Valley High School, we recognise and celebrate our staff and students’ identities. We are a community built on an ethos of equality and respect where hair texture and style have no bearing on anyone’s ability to succeed.

The Trustees and school leaders believe that all members of the school community have a right to be taught in an environment that is safe and conducive to learning, to be treated equally, and not to be bullied, ridiculed or subject to discrimination. Therefore, the school does expect parents/carers to prepare their children appropriately for school, ensuring that they follow the school’s uniform expectations.

With the launch of our 3rd generation pitch, we need to ensure that these pitches are maintained following the Governing body guidelines and insist that pupil’s wear Astro’s or moulded stud boots when using the facility. Please note it is part of school PE kit and all students are expected to have these to use in PE lesson.

Pre-loved Uniform Sale

During the summer term, we invite all Year 6 parents and carers to our PTA's Pre-loved Uniform Sale. All funds raised through this sale will be fed back into the school to provide equipment, run events and help our students enjoy their time at Roding.

We will be in touch with parents in the Summer Term of 2022 to confirm the date of this event.
