Dear Parents/Carers and Year 6 Students,

A huge welcome to all prospective students of Outwood Academy Ripon. Over the past four weeks, it has been wonderful to have once again opened our classrooms to students of all year groups. I hope that you have enjoyed being back in the learning environments of your respective primary schools.

It is with regret that we acknowledge that we are not in a position to host an Open Evening at Outwood Academy Ripon for you this term. It feels highly unusual that I will not be able to welcome you all to the Academy in our Main Hall. We have, however, created this Virtual Open Evening section of our website, to inform and enthuse you about starting your secondary education with us.

The website has been designed specifically for you, your parents and carers. There is a lot of information and we will therefore keep you updated should there be any modifications. The website will remain available for the entirety of this term.

I hope that you find the website informative and interesting; however, you can also learn lots more about the Academy before you arrive by asking your parent or carer to follow our “Outwood Academy Ripon” Facebook page and @outwoodripon on Twitter.
