・The Canvas LMS will be updated on and after September 18 based on the result of the Course Registration Period (Sep. 9 to 11).

・Also, the Canvas LMS will be updated on and after September 30 based on the result of the Course Registration Add/ Drop period(Sep. 18 to 25, 3:30 pm).

If you add the online-based courses during the period of course changing, you can’t see the Zoom URL for the courses on the Canvas LMS. 

In that case, please contact the International Office (rikkyo-inbound@rikkyo.ac.jp) with your student ID, name, course code, and course title.

In case of infection with COVID or influenza, your missed classes will not be treated as an absence.

＜Procedural flow＞

No later than 7 days from the date of recovery (or the following day if the final day is not a weekday), the student must submit to the Academic Affairs Office the following documents and receive a letter to all the course instructors.

This letter must be submitted to each course instructor directly by the student.

＜What to submit＞

①The Rikkyo designated “Certificate of Recovery from Infectious Disease” filled out at a medical facility or a Medical Certificate issued by a medical facility stating the infection period and the date from which the student can resume attending classes.

皆さんが新型コロナウイルス感染症やインフルエンザに罹患してしまった場合は、

以下の手続きをとることで教務上の配慮対象となり、欠席扱いとはならなくなります。

登校可能となった日を含む 7 日以内（締切日が窓口業務を行わない日の場合はその翌日まで）に

その文書を、直近の授業出席時に科目担当者に学生自身が提出する。

　または医療機関の発行する罹患期間と登校可能日が記載された「診断書」

A health check is required for several courses like Sports Study, etc.

Please take your commuter pass certificate (the two-fold purple card you received together with your student ID card) and show it at the on-campus Health Center. There they will confirm the Certificate of Medicine you submitted before your arrival to Japan and if everything is alright, they will give you the necessary stamp certifying that you can register for the course.

「Sports Study」をはじめとしたいくつかの科目では、

授業の履修にあたり、健康診断を受診していることが条件となります。

初回授業にて、健康診断の受診有無を通学定期発行控で確認しますので、

「Sports Study」を履修している方、または担当教員から健康診断有無を確認された方は、

通学定期発行控（学生証と一緒にお渡しした紫色の二つ折りのペーパー）を持参の上、保健室に行ってください。

出願時に提出いただいた健康診断書を確認の上、問題ない場合には「健康診断受診済」を証明するスタンプを押します。

不明な点があれば、国際センターまでお問い合わせください。

When you leave Japan, you have to submit the Notification of leaving Japan to the International Office. Please come to our office to get the form and fill in it. Or you can print the form and submit it to our office.

In case you have class during your leaving, you have to have your academic advisor's signature on the form of Notification of leaving Japan.

Also, after you come back to Japan, please visit our office and fill in the form of Notification of leaving Japan in person.

When leaving Japan temporary during your period of study at Rikkyo, please be sure to obtain a “Special re-entry permit” at the airport from which you are leaving.

旅行などで日本を離れる時には、必ず国際センターに離日届を提出してください。国際センターにフォームを取りに来るかこちらから印刷して記入し提出してください。

離日中に授業がある場合には、離日届けにアドバイザー・指導教員のサインが必要です。

帰国後は国際センターに来室し、帰国の届けをしてください。

留学期間中、日本を一次出国する際は、出国する空港で「みなし再入国許可」の許可を必ず得てください。

You can buy a stamp (証紙）from the kiosk at the academic affairs office (1st floor, Tucker Hall) in Ikebukuro Campus. Purchase the necessary amount of stamps by following instructions. They only accept cash.

Note! If you are willing to join a Rikkyo Student Health Insurance, please buy a stamp on and after April 1, 2025! A stamp purchased before April 1 is not accepted.
