A residence card will be issued at the airport of entry.

International students must complete the procedures listed below at the city office of your residence after your arrival. 

入国後、居住する地域の区・市役所で、以下の手続きが必要です。

1) Registration of your address in Japan / 住居地の届け出 

2) Register for  the National Health Insurance / 国民健康保険の加入 

3) Register for  the National Pension Plan/ 国民年金の加入

For the residents of the University's Dorm | 寮に入居する皆さんへ

The residents of the University's dorms will be available for the support service of the procedures at city hall. Please check here for the details. The schedule for the city hall procedures will be announced to the residents of the University's dorms in the mid-March.

また、郵便局への転居届の提出も忘れないようにしましょう。

Please promptly upload the image of your Residence Card (both front and back) to IRIS, after completing your procedures at the city/ward offices in order to report to the Immigration Bureau.

※The details will be announced at the orientation on September 2.

Notes:

If you hold Japanese nationality (you don't have a residence card) , please submit your residence certificate (jyumin-hyo) to the International Office. You can also submit copies.

出入国管理局への報告のため、区・市役所の居住地の届け出完了後、すみやかに在留カード（おもて・裏）の画像をIRISにアップロードしてください。

注意：

日本国籍を保有する方については、在留カードではなく住民票(コピーも可）を国際センターに提出してください。
