Casual Conversations in Social Studies are coming back! Join members of the SS team virtually on the second Tuesday of the month for standards-based casual conversations with Social Studies colleagues from around the state to help with instruction. Casual Conversations require participants to use this link to register with their school email address. Participants may come to part or all of the conversations.

Dual Language Immersion Webinar Series
SCDE is hosting the first Dual Language Immersion Webinar Series, All Things Immersion. This series provides teachers and administrators involved in an immersion program with a space to explore and engage in best practices specific to the immersion classroom. Participants will receive a Certificate of Participation for Renewal Credit.
The series will run from February 1st to May 2nd, 2024 (4:00-5:00pm).

PE & Health
The Office of Assessment and Standards is excited to announce locations and dates for the Spring 2025 Physical Education Regional Professional Learning Series. This free, face-to-face professional learning opportunity will focus on using the principles of Meaningful P.E. with the South Carolina College- and Career-Ready Physical Education Standards 2021 (P.E. Standards). Participants from across the state will have the opportunity to collaborate and work towards adapting the unit resources best to fit the needs of their population of learners. Certificates of completion for 5 SCDE Renewal Activity Hours will be issued to participants who meet all expectations of the professional learning opportunity.
