MakerSpace Kits Lending Library
The REMC Association of Michigan (REMCAM) provided each of the 28 REMC's in the state with a starter Maker Kit that could be used by member school districts. REMC 10 has added several items to the starter kit. Each item in the kit is loaned out separately for a period of 2 weeks (or longer) at a time.
What is a MakerSpace? According to Makerspaces.org "A makerspace is a collaborative work space inside a school, library or separate public/private facility for making, learning, exploring and sharing that uses high tech to no tech tools...." The concept supports STEM/STEAM and encourages creativity, exploration, and critical thinking.
NEW!! Edupaths now includes 3 Maker Specific Courses, Introduction to Bloxels, Introduction to Spheros, Introduction to 3D Printing. These trainings are free and will help to enhance your experience when using the Maker Space Items.
