MakerSpace Kits Lending Library

The REMC Association of Michigan (REMCAM) provided each of the 26 REMC's in the state with a starter Maker Kit that could be used by member school districts. REMC 10 has added several items to the starter kit. Each item in the kit is loaned out separately for a period of 2 weeks at a time.

What is a MakerSpace? According to "A makerspace is a collaborative work space inside a school, library or separate public/private facility for making, learning, exploring and sharing that uses high tech to no tech tools...." The concept supports STEM/STEAM and encourages creativity, exploration, and critical thinking.

Sphero Sprk
