Seltas, a species native to the frigid lands of Byloc, are characterized by their large, almost bean-shaped heads, wide-set heavy-lidded eyes, and unusually shaped ears. Seltas ears are patterned in shape around the edges as if cut out with decorative scissors-- they are often scalloped, zig-zagged, etc.
Seltas are covered in short, fuzzy and soft fur that can be a wide variety of colors and patterns.
Seltas who live in Byloc often wear special coats to keep warm in the frigid weather. These robelike coats are most easily recognizable by their huge, dome-shaped hoods, which are several times larger than the Selta's head. These hoods, which hold their dome shape rather than falling around the wearer's body, are lined with thick cotton around the face opening and adorned with cute ear shapes on either side.
