Afari are a species native to Byloc characterized by the tentacles growing out of their heads.
Afari are best recognized by the large tentacles growing out of their heads. Afari most commonly have two tentacles-- one on each side of their heads-- but some Afari have as many as six. Afari lack arms, but are able to use their tentacles with great dexterity as limbs of a sort.
Afari have soft, glossy skin that is coated in a thin mucosal layer that keeps them moist. Though Afari do have lungs, they absorb both oxygen and water through their skin. This mucosal layer allows oxygen to pass easily through skin, so hydration is vital for an Afari's wellbeing.
Afari exist in a practically endless variety of colors.
