1. On your paper, make a horizon line. Do not put it right in the middle of the page.  Draw lightly, you will probably erase most of this line.

2.Put a vanishing point on each side of the paper on the horizon line.

All distance lines go towards these two points.

All up and down lines go up and down even with the side of the page.  Objects get smaller as they get further away.

3.  Draw a line that goes straight up and down somewhere close to the middle of the page.

4.  Draw reference lines from the top and bottom of the vertical line to the vanishing point on the right side.

5.  Draw reference lines from the top and bottom of the vertical line to the vanishing point on the left side.

6.  Using a ruler and the first vertical line, lightly draw in the middle letter of your name.  For the top and bottom lines, use your ruler to direct them towards the vanishing points at the edge of your paper.
