After watching the video, use the shading pencils and the blending tools to create your own tonal scale and then shade some basic shapes such as a cube and a sphere.
Draw your basic shape lightly with a harder pencil. (H2, H, HB)
Decide where the light source is.
Shade the areas furthest away from the light with the darkest shades. Use a softer pencil for this. (4B, 6B, 8B)
Use a blending tool to smoth out your shaded areas.
